Google calls on Ambitious Irish Startups to join its Adopt a Startup Programme

COVID-19 is causing lots of problems right now resulting in small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) being hit really hard. Thankfully Google is coming to the rescue by
helping SMBs stay in touch with their customers. They are giving their worldwide SMB customers $340 million in ad credits, which can be used towards future ad spend, until the end of 2020 across Google Ads various platforms. This is part of a larger commitment from Google to support SMBs, health organisations and governments, and health workers on the frontline of this global pandemic.

One Irish company that is taking advantage of this is VROOM Digital, an SMB which is amongst the top 3% of Google Premier Partners. They use Google Adwords every day as part of PPC campaigns for their clients and feel that this offer by Google is hugely positive news and demonstrates encouragement for similar businesses.

Shane Curtin, CEO, VROOM Digital, pictured above, commented on the announcement,It’s a welcome gesture from Google to help out Irish SME’s in their time of need. These businesses represent the backbone of the Irish Economy and roughly 90% of all business. Many have suffered significantly over the last 5 weeks and will continue to do so as the new norm becomes reality.
